The IDE/ATA interface has long been the most popular storage media connection. As the digital world has migrated to serial interface, so goes the IDE interface rapidly being replaced by the higher speed SATA. However, many legacy designs still call for IDE storage. At YooZZa, we are committed to providing new, evolving, and high-performance solid state drive (SSD) designs based on the ATA interface. Our SSD satisfy the demanding memory applications for the Embedded, Telecom, Defense, Storage, Gaming and the Ruggedized Computer marketplace. YooZZa SSD comes in the following form factors (1.8”, 2.5” and 3.5”).
Solid State Drive
The YooZZa 2.5" SSD supports Serial ATA (Native SATA 2) standard. It delivers 1.5 GB/s and 3 GB/s transfer speeds at SATA interface. This product presents high read/write access efficiency; up to 110/70 MBps with YooZZa Ultra speed SSD and up to 170/105 MBps with the Ultimate series.
Our SSD also offers an excellent stability and reliability with SLC NAND to secure it. It can meet the 4 million hours of MTBF requirement. The YooZZA 2.5" SATA SSD designed in the system could provide more advantages than conventional hard disks (HDD), such as system boot time, application launch time, up to 10x/3x faster random small index data read/write. Apart from these performance factors, SSD has better reliable features that secure the MTBF and data integrity since its adoption in comparison to HDD, such as robustness to prevent unrecoverable data from power outage while in operation, and endurance to high shock/ vibration in rugged environments.
